Hawke’s Bay


Hakes Bay is made up of several areas, each with their own diverse and interesting traits. Located on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand, Hawkes Bay spans from Mahia in the north through to Porangahau in the south, covering 1.42 million hectares and 350km of Pacific Ocean coastline.The main areas of Hawkes Bay are Northern Hawkes Bay – encompassing Wairoa, Mahia and Lake Waikaremoana -Hastings, Havelock North, Napier and Central Hawkes Bay.




Napier, located by the sea, is often referred to as the Art Deco Capital. Rebuilt in the 1930’s to reflect the era, Napier is a must visit city dedicated to celebrating its past with amazing events and activities showcasing its rich heritage. Napier i-site is approx 8km south of our park.







Ahuriri is just a five-minute drive from downtown Napier or fromour park. This bustling historic seaside village offers everything from a sandy beach and expansive boardwalk to waterfront cafes and restaurants, galleries, antique treasure houses, boutique stores and thriving businesses.







Hastings District includes the city of  Hastings and covers the area from Cape Kidnappers, across the Tuki Tuki Valley and Te Mata Peak to the Heretaunga Plains. It really is the “fruit bowl” of Hawke’s Bay and boasts numerous wineries and foodie options. Hastings is approx a twenty-minute drive from our park.







Havelock North is a five minute drive east from Hastings City, and approx 20 minutes from Napier, 25 minutes from our park. It offers boutique shopping, a thriving café culture, and scenic views from Te Mata Peak.




After almost 20 years, Snapper Holiday Park changed its name to Napier Beach Kiwi Holiday Park & Motels. With the new name it will be more obvious that the park is a member of Kiwi Holiday Parks.
